insider: E.ON expands EV charging hubs across Scottish cities

E.ON has announced plans for new ultra-rapid electric vehicle (EV) charging hubs at six sites across Scotland.

The 42 chargers will be installed in locations near cities such as Dundee, Edinburgh, Stirling and Dunfermline. These will join E.ON’s first such hub in Scotland, already operational in Aberdeen.

Sarens PSG’s new Offshore Wind Centre of Excellence in Aberdeen will be the base for a major study aimed at enabling the rapid and cost-effective deployment of floating wind turbines in the North Sea on an industrial scale.

letsrecycle: Keep Britain Tidy: ‘90% of UK is affected by litter’

The report looked at a decade of field research and found that more than 90% of the 1,140 miles surveyed contained litter.

Additionally – in a companion survey – 77% of people were found to believe the country’s litter problem has got worse in recent years.
