Ridge Clean Energy has cleared a major hurdle after council planners raised no objection to its proposed Ladyfield Renewable Energy Park in Scotland.

It means the Oxfordshire-based developer will not have to face a public inquiry before a permit decision is made on the hybrid wind and energy storage project.

A survey from Too Good To Go has found that the British public tends to misunderstand the cost of household food waste. 

The survey found that 41.8% of UK adults believe they only waste £100 to £200 worth of food annually.
